FIlm Scores Live! showcases Terence Blanchard, renowned trumpet player and composer, featuring his ensemble The E-Collective and accompanied by the Lawrence Community Orchestra. You'll recognize his work from Spike Lee films including Do the Right Thing and Mo’ Better Blues. Blanchard was nominated for a best score Oscar for Lee’s 2018 film BlacKkKlansman and 2020’s Da 5 Bloods.His numerous credits include scores for Eva's Bayou, Harriet, One Nigh In Miami, Red Tails and The Woman King.
